SBS = Small Business Server. UMove does not run on Essential Business Server (EBS).

Windows Server Core

UMove is fully compatible with Server Core on Windows Server 2008. You can freely move AD between Server Core and Non-Server Core editions of Windows Server 2008.

32-bit to 64-bit

UMove can move AD from 32-bit Windows Server (x86) to 64-bit Windows Server (x64^*). See the following compatibility matrix:

License purchase requirements for 32-bit to 64-bit

To move from a 32-bit server to a 64-bit server you only need to purchase a license for the 64-bit edition of UMove. No purchase of UMove 32-bit is necessary. You can download the 32-bit edition of UMove and install it on the 32-bit server using the free evaluation license that is built-in to the software.

^*UMove 64-bit Edition runs on AMD64 and Intel 64 processors. It does not run on the Intel Itanium processor.
